Playing & Local Leadership Career
Growing up in a prominent Central New York soccer family, Kevin has spent his life immersed in the local soccer ecosystem. Alongside running operations and recreational leagues at the Syracuse Indoor Sports Center, Kevin has channeled his passion into local club management and youth development.
Coaching Experience
Kevin has a deep background in team logistics, individual skills clinics, and competitive team management. He has served as a coach and manager within elite local pipelines, including Syracuse Development Academy (SDA) and regional travel programs [5].
Kevin's coaching philosophy centers on bridging the gap between recreational play and high-level travel soccer. His background includes:
Small-Group & Individual Training: Specializing in pre-season preparation, technical footwork, and tactical positioning for youth players aiming for school and premier club rosters.
Club Logistics: Years of administrative and hands-on coaching experience managing multi-age bracket player pools, ensuring a seamless transition for families moving from developmental training into full club team structures.
Playing Career
A native of the Syracuse/Liverpool area, Keith Perrigo put together a highly successful collegiate playing career in Upstate New York. He competed at the collegiate level for Paul Smith’s College before transferring to Oswego State University. He played as a midfielder for the Oswego State Lakers, wrapping up his senior season in 1995.
Coaching Experience
Keith brings extensive, elite-level collegiate coaching experience to KP Elite. In 1999, he joined the women's soccer coaching staff at William Smith College as an Assistant Coach. During his long tenure with the Herons, his tactical expertise helped build a perennial national powerhouse.
With Keith on the staff, the program reached the NCAA Tournament postseason every single year, including runs to the NCAA Semifinals in 2008, 2010, and 2011, culminating in winning the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2013.
Credentials: Holds a U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) "D".
Local Impact: Beyond the college ranks, Keith has spent decades managing and developing both boys and girls competitive youth club teams across Central New York, while also serving as a key coordinator at the Syracuse Indoor Sports Center.
